The
Homœopathic Clinic
previous page
Homœopathy
is a system of medicine that treats the whole person in a safe and gentle way.
In many cases it has proved wonderfully effective in treating the mental,
emotional and physical shock and trauma experienced by victims of crime and
violence.
A Homœopathic Clinic
has been running successfully out of the offices of Victim Support Lambeth
since 1997. Its organisation has
been refined and the service has been extended, so that it is now available for
a full day and a half each week.
The
Homœopaths, Kathleen Moore and Liz Bevan-Jones have been fully qualified
for some years, but in 2000 they became fully registered members of The Society
of Homœopaths (R. S. Hom).
The
people they see are usually suffering both physically and emotionally. They explain and dispense appropriate homœopathic remedies and ask those
who can afford it for a small donation towards the cost of medicines.
The
clinic has had lovely feedback from clients who feel that homoeopathy has helped
them through anxiety, grief and physical problems.
One client came back after several visits looking well and happy.
She said that she was afraid to let the Homœopaths know how well she was
in case they told her not to come anymore. She still wanted help with another matter and, with her and
with a number of other clients, the Homœopaths have gone deeper, to treat the
effects of earlier traumatic incidents in their lives.
