Visits by Volunteers

previous page

Victim Support volunteers visit victims of crime in their own home, or elsewhere if necessary.  They provide people who have recently experienced crime with:

- someone to talk to
- help with immediate practical concerns
- information and help with compensation and insurance matters
- information on police and court procedure
- liaison with other organisations on your behalf
- contact with other sources of help

Where necessary, volunteers can also accompany you to the police station and volunteers for the Witness Service are  on hand to support you in court.

The help they offer is confidential and free.

If you would like a visit from a Victim Support volunteer please contact the office on 020 7820 0007.
